Terms of Service

Last updated October 26, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Disclosed Chrome extension and website (“Disclosed,” “we,” “us”). By installing or using Disclosed, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What Disclosed is

Disclosed uses artificial intelligence to summarize public filings from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's website, and, on the Max plan, to compare a filing with the company's previous one. Disclosed is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SEC.

2. Not investment advice

Disclosed is an information tool, not a financial advisor. Summaries describe what a filing says. They are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security, and nothing on Disclosed is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. You're responsible for your own investment decisions.

3. AI can be wrong

Summaries and comparisons are generated by AI. They can leave things out, misread a table, or get a number wrong. Long filings may be shortened before they're summarized, so some sections may not be covered. Each point names the section it came from so you can check it. Always verify anything important against the original filing before relying on it.

4. Plans and limits

Each summary you open counts toward your limit. We may change plans, prices, or limits in the future. If we change the price of a plan you're subscribed to, we'll tell you before it takes effect, and the new price applies from your next billing period.

5. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

6. Your plan on more than one browser

A subscription can be used on up to 3 browsers at a time by restoring it with the email you used at checkout. It's for your personal use, so please don't share it or resell access.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Disclosed. That includes trying to get around plan limits (for example, by repeatedly reinstalling), scraping or automating requests, reverse-engineering or overloading our servers, or using Disclosed to break any law. We may limit, suspend, or end access for anyone who does.

8. Content

SEC filings are public documents. You may use the summaries you get for your own research, and you can share them, but please don't present them as professional advice or as something published by the company or the SEC. The Disclosed name, logo, extension, and website belong to us.

9. Availability

We work to keep Disclosed running, but it's provided “as is” and “as available.” It may be unavailable at times, and it depends on outside services such as SEC.gov and our AI provider. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut Disclosed down entirely, we'll stop billing and refund any unused part of a current paid period.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties about Disclosed, including that summaries are accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose. We are not liable for any investment losses or other indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using or relying on Disclosed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll also let you know in the extension. If you keep using Disclosed after that, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
